Supporting others
Over the years, we've had the privilege of supporting many incredible charities—locally, nationally, and internationally.
We’re proud to work with organisations that share a common aim to come together to make a difference in people’s lives.
If you know a charity that could benefit from a little local support, we'd love to hear from you! We invite the charity to attend the sponsored concert to share their work, raise awareness, and hopefully generate some valuable donations too!

Supporting BRACE Dementia Research
This year, The Filtones are proud to support
BRACE Dementia Research. With the wonderful help of our audiences, we've already raised over £700 – and there's still more to come before the end of 2026!
Every concert, donation and show of support helps us contribute to BRACE's important work, while giving us another reason to come together through music and friendship. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us so far!
Filtones sing to share the joy of live music with others....
Singing doesn't just help us raise money for good causes – it also gives us the chance to share a little joy with others in our local community.
Over the past year, we've enjoyed performing at St Monica's Care Home, Ebenezer Church, Lovell Place and Cadbury Hall, bringing music, smiles and plenty of familiar songs to retirement homes and other community settings.
One particularly special visit was to Cadbury Hall, where we were delighted to help celebrate the 90th birthday of our former conductor and choir friend, Mike Watson. A wonderful occasion and a lovely chance to catch up!

"Thank you for your generous gift to BRACE Dementia Research. We are thrilled to have your support. Through your generosity we can continue to support close to 40 ongoing world-class dementia research projects. You truly make the difference for us and we are extremely grateful.
Today your donation is helping us achieve a world free from dementia; to understand the causes of these diseases; to achieve earlier diagnosis before irreversible brain damage has occurred and to find better, more effective treatments."
".....your donation will make such a difference to many families caring for children with life-threatening illnesses, in their own homes, with the help of Jessie May nurses" .... Anne Harris, Trustee
